Run for Cecily’s Fund

By Hannah Keenan OB

Cecily’s Fund, as you may know, raises money to ensure that orphans and vulnerable children in Zambia can stay in education. After leaving Bedales, OB Cecily Eastwood, went to spend a gap year volunteering as a teacher in Zambia. She died only months later in a Zambian car accident; Cecily‟s parents have set up the fund in her memory. Cecily‟s Fund has procured three places in the Brighton Marathon 2012 and 18 in the British 10K London Run 2012 and these are available for those who would like to participate in order to raise money for the fund. Please visit the website for more details on the fund‟s work or email Hannah Keenan for more information. If you would like to participate in one of these events please download and complete the application forms.
