Head of Economics training for London Marathon

Bedales Head of Economics, Ruth Tarrant, is currently in training for this year’s London Marathon. Having started running again last April after a long break, her training has not been straightforward as she has had to overcome a foot injury after an accident in her teens.

However, so far in race-training, she has completed the Marwell 10k, the New Forest 10 mile, the Great South Run, and Gosport half marathon, and is now onto 3+ hour runs at the weekend. Ruth is running for a charity that is close to her heart, Bliss – who support families with premature babies as she has got many friends who have benefited from their care, assistance and support.

She is aiming to raise over £2000, and is nearly at the £1000 mark, and would really appreciate any donations, big or small, which can be made safely online at http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/RuthTarrant
