Thorngrove pupils visit our bakehouse

Recently, pupils from Thorngrove School spent the day at Bedales Outdoor Work Department experiencing different activities. The children had a go at blacksmithing and baking homemade scones in the school’s bakehouse and also had a ride around the estate with our resident horse and cart. At the end of the day the children enjoyed eating their scones before heading home. It was a good opportunity to share the Bedales approach to learning. View photos.
