Student charity fashion show

Alex Yetman (Block 5) organised a fantastic student led fashion show held in the Memorial Library last week. The central tables were removed and the student models walked the catwalk wearing garments selected from A level and BAC Fashion and Textiles projects, and Bedales Wardrobe. The money raised that evening (£435) went towards the Block 4/5 charity fundraising project, which has raised £3,000 for four local charities: The Elizabeth Foundation; Canine Partners; Sussex Snowdrop Trust and Enable Ability. Carolyn Asome, Deputy Fashion Editor at The Times gave a brief talk about ‘getting started in the world of fashion’. There was a great turnout and the atmosphere in the library was incredible.
