YPI winners celebrate at London event

Block 4 Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) winners; Josie Parker, Becky Grubb, Amy Lock and Archie Graves, travelled to The Troxy in London for a very swish winners’ event recently, along with Bea Jervis. The group competed this year for their charity Chestnut Tree House and won £3,000 for them by presenting the best case. Although Bea wasn’t part of the team she has swum 10 miles this term to raise money for her charity, Fitzroy Support, and so far she has raised over £500. The venue was set out in the style of The Oscars and during the day the students sat around grand tables, had lunch and had the chance to listen to inspiring speakers, network with other philanthropists and be entertained. The group was also joined by a representative of Chestnut Tree House.
