Romance in the air

By Athene Jollands (6.2)
Romance was in the air in mid-February as 6th Form students paired up for an evening of dancing at the Valentine’s masquerade ball.

Bedales School

This event, held to raise money for Amnesty International, provided a great opportunity for students to let their hair down at an otherwise serious point of the year.

The ball took place in the dining room, which was decorated by members of the Head Student Team and Amnesty and Entertainments Committees, and food was provided by Dave Greenman and his wonderful team of kitchen staff.

Great fun was had by all involved, setting the mood for ‘Kit Breakfast’ the following morning, where students sent each other anonymous Valentine’s letters and roses.
